Bookkeepers Network Awards

Bookkeepers Network Awards

The bookkeeping awards 2013 are now up for nomination.

As you may recall I have been a winner and runner up in the ‘Most innovative accountant‘ category over the last couple of years. I would love to be somewhere in the running in that category again; however, there is also an additional new category – Accounting Tutor of the year.

Some of you will know that I run an additional business called Accountancy Mentor which is aimed at training bookkeepers and new accountants in practice.

Any and all nominations in either of these two categories 2(a)(b) and 7(a)(b) would be appreciated.

If anyone is looking for reasons, over the 12 months I have become a bit of a ‘go to’ person for Social enterprise setups and advisory services. I have been giving training to people in this area whereas many accountants are avoiding it.

I am also improving my offerings to small businesses and am being recommended by Wessex Chamber for start up services.

  1. It was very much a ‘get the most votes’ thing so I used a bit of social media. But mainly being recognised by those people that I act for and work with.
